TAS 1/8" THE ALUMINUM SHREDDER VARIABLE FLUTE CARBIDE ROUGHING ENDMILL

I cut a lot of aluminum and the TAS is the best rougher that I have ever used on aluminum. I only had one challenge, and that was there was originally no 1/8 available for the detailed work. I was ecstatic to recently find that Lakeshore Carbide now offers the 1/8 TAS. I ordered one and I was not disappointed. Like it's "big brothers" the 1/8 TAS shreds through aluminum. It significantly reduced my machining time on the detailed cuts with a bonus that the required forces of the spindle and drive motors are also significantly less. As with any aluminum cutting, be sure to use use either flood coolant or air blast with a mister. These TAS mills will blow you away.
