Great drills, last a long time and get the chips out better than others
James (KY) 2/14/2015 3:26 PM
I have been having a huge problem drilling very hard steel round stock because they are so hard and the drill engages on a slope once it makes it through the "guide bushing". I've tried numerous types of drills from cobalt to parabolic to uncoated carbide and they all shatter fairly quickly or completely lose their edge. The ones that noticeably lasted the longest were these. They held their edge beautifully and I noticed the reason they didn't snap as readily as the others were that they pulled the chips out much better. I presume this is a function of the helix pitch but whatever it is it works fantastic. You won't be disappointed with these drills!
