Best camfer tool I have found

This is an amazing little chamfer tool. You can run them fast in aluminum and steel. They make very little noise typically. You just have to make sure to run them as far up the flute as you can get away with and use plenty of coolant. If you have to run it near the tip, just up the RPM's if you have the head room, which is what we have to do on a couple steel parts. Hard to go wrong with these.

A game changer for chamfering

I make custom knives out of stainless steel and titanium. I was using straight flute chamfer tools from a competitor, and even though the finish was ok, it sounded like the tool was hammering the material off of the part. Carl suggested that I try these chamfers, and all I can say is wow! Not only is there no noise or chatter, but I had to shut the coolant off for a minute because I though I was cutting air. Now I bead blast and stonewash titanium handles and profile them and chamfer them after their finished. It gives me a great two tone look, and because of the way these tools cut there is no burr to deal with afterward. If you're cutting chamfers after finish work like anodizing, powder coating or tumbling, these chamfers will make you wonder how you ever tried post finish machining without them. Another home run by Lakeshore Carbide.
