1/2 Long Variable Flute End Mill for Steel

I was slugging along with a normal endmill for a long time. I had to keep the RPM low to prevent chatter and this caused flute chipping from excessive chipload and a sub-standard surface finish. I switched to this variable flute and was able to run the spindle about 50% faster without chatter and get a truly unbelievable surface finish, also without any damage to the endmill after many times more parts.
