I just had a chance to use this cutter to semifinish and finish mill some A2 tool steel. The setup was odd and not very rigid at all, but this cutter sliced through it smoothly and silently. Haven't had the guts to do a full slotting pass in tough material with this, but as a finishing mill it can't be beat! And I'll bet with the proper cutting conditions it excels at slotting and profiling as well.
